well, i set it to invalid because it is a patch and i would simply don't accept
the patch because we have a different mechanism that was of course not publicly
known so far but works well. I still thinking that it is a correct decision to
handle it more careful. 
Maybe i missed a potential discussion but it was definitely not on the api list.
I have some backlog with other lists ;-) because of important 3.0 issues.  

So please don't see it personal. And as i have already communicated on [EMAIL 
PROTECTED]
we have to find a satisfying solution. But simply integrating a whitelist
without further definition is of course useless.   

And i am still against a whitelist. I would always prefer patching the reference
rdb.

If you have a concrete problem feel free to ask me how you can solve it. But
this patch is invalid for me and it make no sense to keep it open.
