I investigated this also on Win and Linux (300m25). The second update is
performed clearly BEFORE I release the Ctrl-key. It is not nice, but I do not
think that it is this severe to be declared as O 3.0 Showstopper.
MRU->OS: when changing the zoom level via zoom slider or via Ctrl-mouse wheel,
the ruler is updated in two steps - in the first, it changes it size in the
wrong direction, shortly after this it is shown correctly.
