Here is what my installation is about: Firstly, I installed OOo-Dev_DEV300_m29_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe and added the German (OOo-Dev_DEV300_m29_Win32Intel_langpack_de.exe) and French (OOo-Dev_DEV300_m29_Win32Intel_langpack_fr.exe) language packs. Secondly, the automatic update feature upgraded to m1, and about a week later to m2, arriving at the reported level. The OOo installations were in "full", which included upgrading the installed JRE version (currently at "build 1.6.0_06-b02")which I aborted (the new JRE version would inhibit the accessibility of my banking account via the Internet). Installation of OOo proceeded beyond this step without errors. "Options -> Java" lists two accessible JREs for OOo, "1.6.0_06" (checked) and "1.6.0_04". Neither "Parameters..." nor "Class Path..." are set. --- Because you were not able to duplicate this error, I will remove my current installation of OOO300m2 completely, cleaning the Windows XP (SP3) registry, chkdsk'ing and rebooting, before doing a fresh install from the OOO300m2 files (allowing the JRE to be updated by the installation, but keeping the old OOo installation, which is OOo 2.4.1), and report back. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
