I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)]" and can confirm some little inconsistences for DRAW and IMPRESS:

DRAW: In PAGE pane SLIEDES are listed, but this might be intended? Heading for
the pane is "Slides".
But why is it called SLIDE pane in IMPRESS?
In menu 'Insert' always "Slides" are listed, never "Pages", and that's ok.

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)]" and can confirm several inconsistences for DRAW and IMPRESS:

DRAW: In PAGE pane ("Seitenfenster") SLIEDES (Folien) are listed, but this might
be intended? Heading for the pane is "Seiten". That's like in en-us.
In menu 'Insert' ("Einfügen") always 'Pages' ("Seiten") are listed, never
'Slides' ("Folien"). No idea why this differs from English UI

IMPRESS: "Folienbereich" ('Slide pane') as in English version, but "Seite
einfügen" und "Seite duplizieren" instead of "Folie Einfügen" und "Folie
einfügen". No idea why this differs from English UI.

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version French UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)]" and can confirm several inconsistences for DRAW and IMPRESS:

DRAW: Page pane all translated correctly from English UI, but menu 'Insert'
("Insertion") unexpected difference "Insertion -> DIAPO" / "Insertion ->
dupliquer la PAGE"

IMPRESS:
"Volet diapo" correct, "Insertion" same inconsistence as in DRAW

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version Spanish UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)]" and can confirm several inconsistences all corresponding to
"French UI" for DRAW and IMPRESS:

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version Italian UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)]" and can confirm several inconsistences for DRAW and IMPRESS:

DRAW: other than in other languages slides always are called 'pages'("Pagina")
in pane and menu "Inserci", but menu "Modifica -> Elimina DIAPOSITIVA"

IMPRESS: "Riquadro diypositive" shows 'pages' ("Pagina 1"), that is inconsistent
and differs from all other languages.
Menu 'Insert' always lists 'pages', but menu "Modifica -> Elimina DIAPOSITIVA"

I have some difficulties to understand why this is handled different for every
language. May be we should split this issue into new ones for every language.
This issue might be related to Issue 40813, Issue 40807, Issue 42865, Issue
42158, Issue 58673, Issue 58671, Issue 58668, Issue 48583, Issue 40813; some of
these issues mention aditional inconsistences, some of these issues are DUPs of
each other or postulate just the contrary of other NEW or STARTE issues.

@jza:
What language did you test?
