->HI: My SO version (using JavaMail) works without problems. The OOo version
(OOO300m5, using python) responds very slow and is not able to authenticate to
the server. It also doesn't work with an 'authenticate to POP3 before' scenario.
Looks like a duplicate of issue 90045
->peterhb: Whatever problem you have with the package manager - it doesn't have
much in common with the mail server problem. The first message in the dialog
about the established network connection is green because the server has been
found. The second message is red because the authentication did not work.
