Could you point out some examples (not OOo)?

It is already connected (where do you think those data come from). The text
(result) is of course static (that is option "do not allow manual editing"
for). Please, let's talk about the reported problem not some other issues.

And the problem is: when working on a large document (a book) it is not
possible that you do everything on the first shot and no correction is
possible. On the other hand it is not acceptable that after finishing the book
the author will reinsert all the bibliographic entries. This is not typewriter
era. One of the advantages of computers is ability to correct, correct, and
correct again. Without pain.

Besides -- _I_, human can fix manually the index so this task can be fixed as
well in program -- OOW knows exactly where the database is, what entries were
inserted. It is doable, it saves huge amount of work, and this is exactly this
kind of productivity boost you can expect from computers when you switch from
typewriter.

If you still disagree please describe shortly your workflow when writing 600
pages book, with 1200 bibliographic references. I am especially curious about
this part "and now, for 3 days I make no mistake, not single one". Thank you
in advance.
