2008 -------
i just downloaded and started the aqua version of OOo and opened a new text doc.
i use a matrox triplehead2go which spreads my desktop across three monitors,
making it unusually wide relative to a normal monitor. the system sees the
three monitors as if they were a single monitor.

when i created the new text doc, it comes up with the OOo interface spread
across all three monitors. the text doc is also spread that way, inside the
writer window.

when i grab the corner of the window to resize it to my center monitor, the
text doc is now too big for the window. this i expect and go to the view menu
and select zoom.

no matter what zoom option i choose, the format looks like my unusually wide
monitor space. in other words, the page is very wide and not very tall.

checking the formatting shows that the doc is a default 8.5"x11" doc. this
indicates that it should appear taller than it is wide. this is exactly the
opposite of what i see. what i see is a very wide doc that is quite short,
its aspect ratio is very wide, not tall as it should be.

i'm using build 9354.

i don't see any options to attach images on this page:

but i do have one of the OOo "about" screen which details my version, as well
as a screenshot of the writer window with a mal-formatted (or displayed) doc.
if someone wants to see them, they can get in touch via email as this may be
the only time i'll visit this site.

thanks,
BabaG
