On the German mailing list we had reports of a similar problem in WinXP. The
cause was a (wrong) libxml2.dll in Windows system path for example in
windows/system32 folder. The solution was to copy the libxml2.dll from
...\OpenOffice.org 3\ure\bin to ...\OpenOffice.org 3\program. I don't have a
Windows Vista and therefore do not know about the paths and libraries there. But
you might investigate in this direction.
