I confirm the problem with the version 3.0.0 (without the patches to workaround
other
python problems).
I have an extension with a Python macro that works OK on 2.x.
On 3.0.0 Windows XP, extension installation is rejected:
"Failed to register package for vnd.snd.star.expand:$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/
uno_packages/2B.tmp_/test1.oxt/pyTest1/"
Corresponding line in the manifest.xml of the extension:
<manifest:file-entry
manifest:media-type="application/vnd.sun.star.framework-script"
manifest:full-path="pytTest1/" />
