OOo works fine under Ubuntu and other Debian based linux distributions. Please
uninstall all OOo packages and clean your system. Open a shell and cd to the OOo
3 debs. Become 'root' or sudo the debs with dpkg -i *.deb. You'll get support
at
http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/
