------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 2 13:54:25 +0000 2008 ------- OOo 3 Writer provides the possibility to format text in notes (bold, superscript...). But there seems to be no way to access the formatted note text with the API. My situation: In a Writer document I want to extract the content of footnotes, textframes and notes with all formatting and put it into the main text. I could do it with footnotes and frames, but not with notes. I explained my need, showed my OOo Basic code and asked for help in the OO Community Forum, see: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=12283. The last answer was: "There seems no API calls for getting the formatted text (SwXTextField has no Text property!). File an enhancement request against API project." I'd like to ask to provide some way to access Writer's formatted note content with the API. P. D.: I didn't look into Calc or other components about this issue. It might be possible that there is the same problem as in Writer. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
