I read somewhere on the Matrox website that they do this by faking the device
resolution of the primary
monitor's EDID information. That would be a good idea when also the EDID's
reported DisplaySize was
extended accordingly.
Either that or if there was a way the application could tell that that the
reported DisplaySize was bogus
and has nothing to do with the resolution.
