------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 5 14:20:59 +0000 2008 ------- I'm also experiencing some problems. I have a working web application using OpenOffice 3.0 and the SDK / API. This works fine under Windows (XP SP3) and OpenSolaris 10 (101b), but when I tried it on a linux platform it fails, the BootstrapSocketConnector throws an exception with appears to contain the message "null". I've checked the path to open office (in my case something like UNO_PATH=/opt/openoffice.org/basis3.0/program/ and my web application is reading that from the environment ok. I installed using the OO3.0 RPMS, I've installed all of them and they all installed ok. Some details: The linux in question is CentOS 5.2 32bit - fully updated. I'm using Sun Java 1.6.x The web app is using the Java API and the BootstrapSocketConnector Interestingly the UNO_PATH between OpenSolaris and Linix is virtually identical, as is everything else - so this leaves me wondering if it's something Linux specific. Any feedback greatly appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
