------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Dec 12 11:38:29 +0000 2008 ------- AW: This is an enchancement which was introduced with the drawing primitives. The idea was that the main grid points are too hard to distinguish from the non-main grid points, especially with high resolutions (more and more used) and the gray used by default. Since it was only a small change, it was loosely discussed with UserExperience (like .e.g that the text of an object now casts a shadow when shaodow is on). It's more like it should always have been, and reactions up to now are positive. Since the main grid points are now better visible, it is possible to define grids with bigger spaces and (in Your example) no longer needed to set the grid color to black. I guess, You did that to be able to better see the grid points...? Exactly this was the reason for the change. I hope You try to go back to gray or make a bigger main grid space and use the enchanced visualisation. An option in the configuration could be added to change this to old behaviour, but this would need re-implementation of the old stuff and more people not liking the new visualisation (You are the first one). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
