------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Dec 17 15:16:57 +0000 2008 ------- please see attached jpgs (00_30_osx.jpg and 00_30_winxp.jpg as well as original oo_intro_dave_10.odt) a closer look at the 00_30_osx.jpg shows, that printing changes from first line to third line. example the word "überschrift" is higher in first line than in third line. a closer look at the windows printout of the same file shows that there is no difference between first and third lines. attached is also the complete file as produced under osx (and later opened without any changes under winxp). the problem sometimes affects whole pages, sometimes not at all. further, under osx the combination garamond/italics/bold shows up on the screen as garamond/italics. the bold gets printed but is not visible on the screen. have used openoffice now for 4 years and won many hundreds of students to switch from microsoft word to openoffice. but the experience of openoffice 3.0 under osx is very disappointing. openoffice 2.4.1 under osx was much more reliable. i sincerely hope the next release solves these font problems. yours --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
