------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Dec 24 10:30:25 +0000 2008 ------- I can confirm the general behaviour as nicosch described it in desc3: Opening a document via the quickstarter uses a fair amount of cpu (50% on dual core) and does not release it after closing the file-open-dialogue. All other methods of opening a file don't display this for me, and it _only_ occurs when Windows dialogues are used, i.e, the "Use OpenOffice.org dialogs" option in Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>General is off.
