OK.'compatibility' is nice; OpenOffice should not be different for the sake of
being different. However, should compatibility take precedence over quality?
Should OOo Writer have the same defECts as MSWord?
Imagine the MSWord addict, using OOWriter: 'Hey! My header does not run under my
page number! Nice! No, wait... I don't like it, because it's not compatible with
MSWord...' Really?
Conclusion: OpenOffice should be mature enough to override MS when it makes
sense.
PS. Can you imagine a user actually wanting the option to truncate a header?
