Issue still not reproducible "F&R appearing twice".
And what natalia_hitekschool describe is a normal behavior:
- when doing Alt+F -> File menu opens
- Esc -> Filemenu closed but focus still on File
-> thus, any letter typed (with or without Ctrl) which correspond to a main menu
mnemonic will open this menu.
