------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jan 28 13:29:09 +0000 2009 ------- Using the export to PDF function (either on File menu or the toolbar button) brings up the save-as dialogue. With auto extension ticked or not, clicking save using the default filename(with no file extension) results in the message 'filename.odt already exists. Do you want to replace it?". In OOO300 it would have just created the file filename.pdf. The problem only occurs when I do not type anything in the filename field but leave it as the default (without extension). If I type a new file name, or even retype the default filename, then it works properly. So, in sequence, Open file called 'name.odt' File->Export as PDF ... Export Save causes the problem. However, Open file called 'name.odt' File->Export as PDF ... Export Type 'name' in the file dialogue Save works. Hope this helps (but it looks like an initialisation issue to me), This is definitely a change from OOO300 as I do this type of exporting a lot.
