Openoffice.org 3.0 (build OOO300_m9_native_packed-1_fr.9358)
and 3.1 (build OOO300_m15_native_packed-1_fr.9379) do not load.
Version 3.0 did load when openoffice 2.4 was installed, but when 2.4 is
uninstalled, no module of openoffice 3.0 or 3.1 will load.

(Modules tested = base, calc, draw, impress, math, writer)
(odf spreadsheet, drawing, and text documents were tested with the same results)
(The printer configuration module, which doesn't display a splash screen, does
load.)

System config=
Mandriva 2008.1 running gnome, with sun java installed
Openoffice french-language rpm version without java, downloaded from the
openoffice.org french-language page.
The openoffice gnome-integration and mandriva-menus rpms are installed.
The menus do not display the usual icon beside the text, and there is no entry
for calc.

The error message displayed is (for both m9 and m15) :
"OpenOffice.org 3.0 - Fatal Error
    Impossible de lancer l'application !
iso resource could not be loaded by SfxApplication"

When invoking openoffice (any module) from the console, the following message
appears in the console, before the above error message is displayed :
gtk-message: failed to load module "gnomebreakpad":
/opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/ure-link/lib/libstdc__.so.6: version
'GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /usr/lib/bug-buddy/libbreakpad.so.0)

Note that openoffice 2.4 (and before) used libstdc.so.5, which had to be
installed separately, as mandriva 2008.1 comes with libstdc.so.6, which is also
installed by openoffice 3 in the program directory.

It is not clear what GLIBCXX_3.4.9 refers to.
My mandriva comes with glibc 2.7; the latest mandriva with glibc 2.8
gnomebreakpad is an error reporting module, so some error must have occurred
before this point.

The subcomponent 'code' was selected only because Issuezilla required a
selection. I have no idea what subcomponent is involved.
