------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Feb 3 03:31:12 +0000 2009 ------- About 10% of the time when I try to save a new document OOo crashes -- no error message just poof, gone. When I restart OOo it attempts to recover the document, but it always comes back blank. I have been unable to identify any pattern to the times when a crash occurs. It seems pretty random. The problem seems to occur equally on all OOo component applications (although I work mostly in Calc and Writer, so I can't verify this). This has been a persistent problem for me across every version of OOo I have installed on this computer (2.1 through 3.0.1). The following is a sample entry from the Windows Application Event log of the crash: Faulting application soffice.bin, version 3.0.9357.500, time stamp 0x48dd02f9, faulting module MSVCR80.dll, version 8.0.50727.1434, time stamp 0x4757746d, exception code 0xc000000d, fault offset 0x00008aa0, process id 0xb08, application start time 0x01c9617849e94f9f.
