------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat Feb 7 23:56:54 +0000 2009 ------- Hi I'm currently developing a spell check dictionary for Kichwa, a variant of the inca language. Dialects of this language is spoken by a few million people in Ecuador. I've got a working small test database, however there is an issue: There is no entry for Kichwa anywhere (in english possibly Quichua). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quichua I would suggest a locale/language code of qi-EC (Quichua as spoken in Ecuador) The closest I get is "qu", see Quechua in http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/code_list.php At home I run ubuntu 8.10. Can somehting be done locally do add this language? As an ugly hack I downloaded english(South Africa) and overwrote the .dic and .aff files with my Kichwa - it worked! best, Arno (new to this :) ) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
