I don't believe you responded to my issue as stated. I am not saying anything 
about text styles and draw styles. I am talking about how styles are 
implemented. Regardless of the separation in styles between the suite 
components there still needs to be a consistency in operation. There is no 
logical reason why the specified standards for implementing styles should/could/
would be different between Draw and Write. Infact, a lack of consistency would 
suggest either a failing in the specification of the standard, or an error in 
implementation. 

So which is it? An error in the specification that fails define a standard on 
how styles should be applied? It is clear that your perception is that the 
implementation is correct, despite its inconsistency.
