Some experiments show that indeed only manually applied formatting will update
the selected style. All formatting that was applied by style will not be taken
over to the updated style.
This is unexpected and a bad user experience.
I will change the Help as suggested. But I would like to reset the issue as it
has been before, as a request for improvement. Target set to a realistic "Later"
