Here the answer by the Swiss national Bank:

Dezember 1997 in Kraft trat. "

- the official international currency code is "CHF", as stated in the MÃnzV
- the website www.sksf.ch (Swiss Commission for standards in financial business)
shoud provide more infos (I'd had a look at the site but found nothing valuable)

So the situation is as before: the only "official" document seems to be the
MÃnzV, but the common use in Switzerland is not that clear.

Ok .. I just checked some print media .. "Fr" is often used. In Computer
business "CHF" or "SFr." is more common. So also no real help.

So far for de_CH. (We should keep it as it is .. or we would need a study).

For de_LI: do *not* use anything else than CHF. Although, the "Schweizerfranken"
is used in Liechtenstein, Liechtenstein is not Switzerland .. and therefore the
foreign Currency Code is right. I work in Lichtenstein for two years now,
costumers are Lawyers / Trustees, and i saw nvere one of our customers using
anything other than CHF.

Is I don't think, I can provide more info, I reassign to er.
