Fixed by changing the way the position of the insertion indicator is stored.
Instead of (mis-)using the selection it is now explicitly stored at the
SelectionManager. Every change of the selection, however, resets the insertion
position. Calling SelectionManager::GetInsertionPosition() will then use the
position past the last selected slide.
Revision of the changes is 270496.
