Microsoft Office allows the user to change a field "Author" in a document properties but OOo doesn't :-( The author in OOo is always the person whose name was inserted while installing the software. Last night I release a 4th Edition of a translation I made for a device and I started working on this document several years ago in MS Word and in the author I have there: "Frank Abate / Portuguese by Marco A.G.Pinto". My luck is that OOo Writer kept the author details, otherwise I would lose a bit of "quality" in my final output. I hope this can be improved by adding an Author field in File-Properties.
