AFAIR the reason why the same content is sent to printer multiple times in case
of "Collate" is selected was that many printer drivers didn't handle collating
correctly, so it was decided not to use the "Collate" function of them but
instead of that emulate it by sending multiple copies explicitly.
Maybe it is time to reconsider that? Or do we still fear/know that some printer
drivers screw it up?
