------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jun 5 04:39:38 +0000 2009 ------- For ages, www.openoffice.org has been unable to supply a consistent set of localised OpenOffice versions in regard to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). Take a look at http://download.openoffice.org/other.html#en. For example, the Danish and Spanish versions of OpenOffice 3.1.0 are currently supplied WITHOUT the JRE, no matter if you check the check box or not. The Italian version of OpenOffice 3.1.0, on the other hand, is only supplied WITH the JRE. If you have unchecked the check box, you get an error if you try to download the Italian version. When will this problem be solved? It's very annoying and it will NOT serve to convince people to move to OpenOffice, that's for sure. It will only serve to make OpenOffice look stupid. Naturally, it should be VERY simple to include or exclude the JRE when you download ANY language version of ANY OpenOffice version. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
