In many scientific applications, it would be useful to have the full power of
the equation editor when writing axis labels, chart titles, and so on. For
example, one could have "Fig 1: <equation>d over dx left( A_i left(x1_, x_2
right) right)</equation> for various sampling conditions" as a title.
