------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jun 19 07:57:58 +0000 2009 ------- I edit some fairly large files (I write books in OOo). Occasionally, I have noticed that, after I've done some amount of editing, a paragraph the bleeds exactly one line over a page break will be pushed in its entirety to the next page, regardless of how long the paragraph is. This has been a problem since OOo 2.4.0, I think, and the typical files involved are usually hundreds of pages long. This seems to occur most frequently when I use the Find (and occasional Replace) features, and over the course of many of them during a single editing session. They are sometimes rectified by saving, exiting and re-loading the file, but not always. Also, if the pushed paragraph is exactly two lines, sometimes it can only be reformatted properly by deleting the paragraph break (<CR>) and re-inserting it. Sometimes, this does not work and I have to insert a new paragraph break, add one (or more) character(s), delete the next paragraph break and backspace over the extraneous character. If the pushed paragraph is more than two lines, usually all it takes to fix is to insert a new <CR> and delete the next one (bringing the next paragraph up to replace the existing one). This MAY have something to do with 1.5 line spacing, which I use all the time. BTW, I am running OOO310m11, which was the most recent release when I pulled it down. A sample file is attached, but you may have to play around with it for a while to see what happens. Deleting words that shift a paragraph up a line, or adding ones that add a line to the end may also be involved. I have not found a clear pattern, but I do a lot of editing, and it happens from time to time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
