What about other dialogs like document properties
Please make following test:
Enter such name in
~ Menu Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - User Data
~ Close Options dialog with ok and open a new writer document
~ Menu File - Properties - TabPage General
See at the row Created, is the name clear?
Did you test it with current OpenOffice version OOo3.1.0?
We did some fixes for Cyrillic and other fonts.
