Steps to reproduce.

Install the OO.o 3.2 (m_56 - odficon) build found at qa-upload under Win 7.

Ensure that there is no installation of MSO 2007 on this machine.

Now associate .doc files with soffice.exe (not swriter.exe ).

In the window manager the .doc files will now display an OO.o generic file icon.
The file type metadata will be reported as "DOC file"...(another issue)

Place a .doc file into a directory that is part of a multi-directory library.
(for instance place a file in the public access documents file directory = in my
case this is at virtual \\libraries\Documents\Public Documents or the physical
location c:\users\Public\Public Documents)

First screen shot is the windows manager displaying the .doc file - it looks
good.

Second screen shot - back up to view the Documents container - view setting =
Medium Icons, Arrange by = Type. We picked the ODF icon up again.
