Hi again! A similar issue arises when using our Print Preview. At the moment
only Calc "refuses" to print an empty document - Writer and Draw/Impress will
print it, even if it outputs an empty page. Thus, even the Print Preview is
inconsistent.

Intermediate result:
1) Keep the Calc dialog.
2) Discuss with the module owner if we want to change the default behavior for
all kinds of documents --> if an empty document has been created (or the
document is just empty and without template objects), then nothing gets printed
or shown in the Print Preview. --> @pl: Shall I add all the module owners to the
issue?

My personal preferred option is still 3 - finally implement non-modal dialog
elements in OOo which inform but do not interrupt ... :-)
Btw, in some rare cases it might happen that user might need some note paper and
therefore print an empty sheet (to avoid to open the paper tray) - but that
should not hinder us to prevent undesired printing...
