The fix *may* be the same, but the symptoms are different. When (if) you fix the
other bug, you may fix this one too, and you may not. The other bug has to do
with which changes show up in the change list in the Accept/Reject dialog box.
That fix may involve adding a pull-down to select which file's change list is
displayed in the popup.

The fix for this bug should share a lot of back-end code that's in common with
this bug. There may need to be other code to handle the symptoms shown in this
bug, there may not need to be. But you cannot assume that if you fix the
symptoms in the other bug, that you have fixed the symptoms in this bug because
the symptoms are different and in different types of windows (popup change list
v.s. the main document).

>From a bug-reporting and bug-fixing perspective, because the symptoms are
different, both bugs should stay separate, but linked. When you fix the other,
you need to check that this one is fixed too. By assuming that this bug is a
duplicate, you're moving the responsibility for checking that it's fixed from
the developers onto the users. That's ok, except that I'm out of the loop. I
don't know when the other bug will be worked on or fixed. I have little
influence in this process. The other bug has been open for almost 3.5 years, and
I don't know how many releases of OO. I hope I'll still be using OpenOffice
years from now and be able to check on the progress of this and the other bug.
