It seems that currently we don't even know whether this issue is under OOo's responsibility, so I doubt that your decision to changed status was wise. You didn't mention how YOU reproduced the issue? Can you confirm the poblem with your Linux version and a newly created document? Or only with the sample document, that might be damaged?
