------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Feb 1 11:47:34 +0000 2010 ------- Following on from issue 108794: This also applies to Windows (7) build of OpenOffice OOO310m19 (build 9420) v 3.1.1 Open blank new spreadsheet. With Spreadsheet open, click 'File', 'New', 'Spreadsheet'. - Once open type a new URL into cell A1 (or any other cell). - Ensure URL recognition is ON and URL is highlighted (i.e. recognised). - Select cell A1, right click on cell A1. Click 'Format Cells' on submenu that opens. - Click on the 'Alignment' tab - Ensure check box by 'Wrap text automatically' is checked - Click 'Okay' - Move column A so width is less than the length of the URL (i.e. you cannot see all of the URL 'text'). Word wrap does not apply to URL (with URL recognition on). Competing products (Excel, Pages) do provide this functionality. This may not be a 'defect' (please advise) and possibily a future enhancement. I have an attachment but enter issue page does not have an attachment option. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
