Since I upgraded to 3.2 (and going back to 3.1 doesn't help now), the product
does not start up. When I try to use any component or the quick starter, it
errors out with the following:

OpenOffice.org 3.2 - Fatal Error
The application cannot be started.
cannot get type description for type "com.sun.star.awt.XDockableWindow"!

The first time I tried to upgrade I had the same result only it was unable to
determine the user interface language. I have now uninstalled (completely
including deleting all fragmentary file structures) and re-installed the product
and end up each time with either this error or the user interface language
error.

During install there are several errors reported about some file being locked or
inaccessible but using the retry button makes the install proceed. I have been
unable to get through an install without at least one of these type's of errors
occurring. I cannot find any information regarding this problem on windows that
works or is reliable.

Please point me to a solution that works (don't just refer me to the forums,
they suck ass). I have been a supporter of the OpenOffice project since it's
inception and am afraid this is the death knell for the project if you can't get
it to work and only developer's can use it.

Please get me a solution soon or I will have to go to Microsoft (which is THE
LAST THING I want to do, but if you guys can't run at least a half-assed ship,
then what choice do I have?).
