Thanks for the clarification - I had forgotten that the readme files shipped
with OOo were generated to be platform-specific.  I would agree that Solaris 10
is the most sensible requirement for OOo given that Solaris 9 has reached
End-of-Life.

I was however drawn into testing OOo 3.2 on Solaris 9 SPARC as it is still
listed as a platform for localization testing:

(as indeed are Solaris 8 SPARC and Solaris 9 x86)

BTW http://www.openoffice.org/welcome/readme.html doesn't mention Solaris 10 as
