------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Apr 29 18:07:16 +0000 2010 ------- I d/l the 3.2 package on 29 Apr 2010. I had a fresh, updated CentOS 5.4 system, i386. It had OpenOffice 2.3 on it. I installed, and found soffice from 3.2 did not work, giving the error that it could not find libuno_sal.so.3. Using find, I saw that no such library lived under the newly installed /opt/openoffice.org3. I found it in the 2.3 install, and tried both setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and linking, and had other errors. I tried uninstalling both versions, and only installing the 3.2, and it gave exactly the same error. It appears that you have a library missing - at least one, in the current stable package. Note that I uninstalled all versions of OO.o again (yum remove openoffice.org\*), then copied OOo_3.1.1_LinuxIntel_install_wJRE_en-US.tar.gz from another of our servers, and ran setup, and it ran the first time. mark --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
