------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed May 19 21:42:18 +0000 2010 ------- Subtracting a circle overlapping a circle sector fails in some cases, giving unexpected results. See the attached bugdoc for two examples. The steps for reproducing this are: 1) File > New > Drawing 2) Create a circle, diameter 0.5" 3) Create a circle sector ("Circle Pie" on the "Circles and Ovals" toolbar) with diameter 3" and start/end of ~45/40° (almost a full circle) 4) Align the circles horizontally and vertically and bring the smaller circle to the front. 5) Edit > Points; adjust the start/end of the sector to 0/60° (1/6 of a circle) 6) Select both shapes, Modify > Shapes > Subtract The operation should remove a portion of the sector's center, but--in some cases--it fails, and either the small circle disappears completely and the sector is left intact, or the result seems to be the inverse intersection of the two shapes. Starting from scratch, the problem is not 100% reproducible; I haven't been able to find exactly what parameters are crucial. Starting from the shapes in the attached bugdoc, the problem(s) happen every time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
