------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 15 07:23:00 +0000 2010 ------- 1. The problem way also there with OOo-3.1 2. The problem is linux/unix only (as the profile already inidcates) 3. My platform is Fedora Linux-13, but also saw it on Fedora 11/12 4. Step-by-Step: * Open the file attached * Scroll through it, up&down * On my Core2Duo Laptop (2x2ghz/4MB L2 cache) I get about ~2fps scrolling it 5. No is not related to Issue 103008. Issue Issue 103008 (which I filed, and was *never* really investigated) talked about slow graphic rendering, this one is about a *simple* document with horrible scrolling performance. The profile suggests the problem is somewhere in OOo's font substitution mechanism, which is used if it can't find a font and tries to find one which looks the same. Something is going wrong here and OOo calls into FontConfig like mad. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
