The locale is set under Mac OS X using System Preferences > International > Formats If I set the region to United Kingdom, everything in the Formats form is reset to UK values. I can then double-click on Ätsch.otf, and it opens correctly in Open Office. However, I live in Switzerland and I want the currency to be Swiss Francs.
