Previous functionality with OO.org 3.2.0rc5(m12) and BrOffice 3.2.0(m12) showed the following results when testing platforms with both OO.org3.2.0 installed and BrOffice installed. ((- this is the expected behavior??, see below for test results with 3.2.1.)) 1. Install both OO.org 3.2.0 and BrOffice 3.2.0. 2. Login to C locale. Open file manager and right click on e.g. an odt document. The file manager showed 'Office Suite' in the right click 'open with' menu. 3. Select open with Office Suite, OO.org correctly launched opening the document. 4. Login to pt_BR locale, Open file manager and right click on e.g. an odt document. The file manager showed 'Office Suite' in the right click 'open with' menu. 5. Select open with Office Suite, BRoffice correctly launched opening the document. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- For OO.org 3.2.1 the following results were seen. 1. Install both OO.org 3.2.1(320m18) and BrOffice 3.2.1RC2(320m18) -( in that order) 2. Login to C locale. Open file manager and right click on e.g. an odt document. The file manager incorrectly lists BrOffice in the right click 'open with' menu. When user selects this, BROffice is launched, it should launch (as we are in the C locale) OO.org. The 'Office Suite' menu has been removed from the right click menu as a result of installing (A). OO.org 3.2.1 - after this was installed (but before BrOffice was installed) the right click menu listed OpenOffice.org 3.2 (B). After installing BrOffice, the OpenOffice.org 3.2 menu item was replaced with BrOffice. Also after a system upgrade from s10u8, it is expected that the StarOffice8 menu item remains in the right click menu for all office documents.
