As far as I understand there is a proprietary peace of software in Solaris which
handles the distinction between pt-BR and other locales. I can't think of any
changes between OOo 3.2.0 and OOo 3.2.1 in relation to this.
I'm not aware of any locale specific code in OOo vs. BrOffice to handle
different desktop integration depending on locale used.
So I guess the root cause of the issue you describe here, is somewhere within
Solaris itself and it's specific desktop integration for OOo and BrOffice.
