------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Dec 28 22:49:31 +0000 2010 ------- Yes, the ranges are visible (btw, new info for me, thanks). But my problem still exists. I cannot select a range, and therefore cannot modify it, delete it, or rename it - unless there is another trick I haven't learned yet. As to the qestion regarding Excel's Data Range feature, I am very rusty on Excel and do not have access to it. The only reason I need to define a Data Range in the Excel file is that when I try to use it as an ODBC link in OOO Base, the data is not visible without a Data Range defined - again, maybe there is something I'm missing. I need to use the Excel file bacause of a 3rd party app which can only use DBase files or ODBC connections. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
