Ack: read my bugreport there times before submitting and still got a mistake.
You're right: I'm clicking "Finish" ("Next" is disabled).

No change. If I then click on the "Tables" icon, I get an error dialog:
The connection to the data source "foo" could not be established.
User not found:
If I click on the More button of the error dialog, I see two errors in the list:
An information stating connection could not be established
An error stating SQL Status S1000, error code -37 User not found:
