I have tested the character you mentioned on German WinXP Home with OOo1.9.104
with German language pack and local setting to German and document standard 
German.
The only problem is, that the aleph turns the writing direction to
right-to-left. I can workaroung this, if I don't insert your characters in the
formeleditor als whole string, but insert the aleph as single character with its
own "". So I have got in the command window "ΦЋ""א""ℕ∀". They are all 
shown
correct both in the command window and in the text, even if I don't change the
text-format to "Lucida Sans" but leave it unchanced on "Thorndale".
