thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org...
I got the same problem on FC3 on Gnome and on XFCE...
This works on KDE...
steps to reproduce:
- select a word
- [ctrl] + [shift] + [B] to set the selected word to subscript
- >the selected word switches to an underlined capitalized "B"
- [ctrl] + [z] to undo this
-> the selected word appears followed by the underlined capitalized "B",
the word is still selected...
- type the arrow right button to leave the selection
-> the selected word including the underlined capitalized "B" switch to a little
rectangle...
As discussed with us I tried this again with setting SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen
==> this works as expected...
WORKAROUND:
- select the word
- Format -> Character -> Position -> Subscript -> OK
