------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 22 20:15:39 -0700 2005 ------- I just took a fresh machine and walked through reproduction of the bug, just to make sure the wizard appearance wasn't an event so subtle that we missed it. Here are the repro steps. I guarantee that no wizard shows up. These steps assume that you've got a MySQL database somewhere that you can connect to. I assume it would work to use another DB (modify step 2 appropriately). 1. Install fresh Fedora Core 3 (personal desktop). 2. Run Add/Remove Programs and install default packages for MySQL Database. 3. Create ~/.odbc.ini and add a data source for an existing MySQL DB. 4. Register the data source with OOo. 5. Create .sxw document using OOo form wizard to connect to DB table. 6. Update system to Fedora Core 4. 7. Launch .sxw document created in step 5. The document will come up empty. I actually injected a step between 5 and 6 to run up2date for all the system packages before upgrading to FC4, just to confirm that the breakage doesn't occur until OOo 2.0 Beta (the about box actually says "2.0 1.9.104") is installed. I assume that omitting this step will not affect the outcome. The fresh FC3 installs OOo 1.1.2. After running up2date on all the packages, OOo is at 1.1.3. I can't think what else you would need to reproduce the behavior, but feel free to ask if you need anything else. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
